RARE THREE STOOGES ON DVD

These dvds are individually priced at $10.00 each or all 3 for $25.

THREE STOOGES SCRAPBOOK (1963). This unsold television pilot is a true rarity, filmed in color with a laughtrack. The Stooges, seeking out a place to stay that allows home cooking, answer the ad of an eccentric inventor (Emil Sitka) who is in need of protection from martians he claims are trying to steal his latest invention. Unfortunately, this is not the complete episode. This is a 15 minute version that was cut down for theatrical release by Columbia Pictures. The color and laughtrack are still intact, retaining it's sitcom-like feel. Definitely a must for collectors and fans!

THE STOOGE INTERVIEWS (1973-1988). Join Moe Howard, Larry Fine, Joe Besser, and Curly-Joe DeRita in over two hours of fantastic interviews that will keep Stooge fans on the edge of their seats. Included are 3 of Moe's appearances on The Mike Douglas Show, Larry being interviewed from The Motion Picture Country Home and Hospital, Joe Besser and Moe (his final interview) on a 1976 NBC Nightly News segment about the popularity of The 3 Stooges, and Joe DeRita in a 1988 interview conducted at his home by a reporter from a San Francisco television station doing a piece on the boys. Some stand-out moments inlcude a 76 year old Moe demonstrating the art of throwing pies and Joe DeRita setting the record straight about many things previously published in the book MOE HOWARD & THE THREE STOOGES.  A must for Stooge fans and collectors.

THREE STOOGES HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME CEREMONY
(1983)

One hour of footage from the day the Stooges finally received their star on Hollywood's famous "Walk of Fame" on August 30, 1983. Stooge Joe Besser is joined by family members of the Stooges, frequent co-star Emil Sitka, and others in the Hollywood community including Milton Berle, Jamie Farr, Adam West, and Master of Ceremonies, Gary Owens. This was one of the largest gathering of fans at any Walk of Fame ceremony. Also featured is a segment of a Los Angeles news broadcast of the events of that day featuring interviews with those attending.

NOTE: If you have any 3 Stooges shorts taped off television circa 1977-1985, I will trade whatever you'd like. I am compiling a "Screen Gems" collection of Stooges shorts for my personal collection, so I prefer that these be the beat up, splicey, edited versions that were the tv standard.

This portion of the website will focus on the censorship of the Stooge comedies by both Screen Gems and the local stations that ran these films.

I welcome any help possible with the preparation of this section of the site.

THANKS!
